Part of me wishes they would take the deeper one and make an all-removable bin version of it to compete with the Harbor Freight organizers at the same 2 for $12 or even a 2 for $15 price point. They have a revised double-throw type latch that is beefier than the HDX version.
bin design and the fact that they are the same price as the HDX makes it a great deal. It's a nice combination of the fixed-compartment vs. The deeper organizer though comes with 9 center removable bins with 6 fixed compartments surrounding the bins (not including the odd shaped compartment left by the handle. The shallow one is essentially a copy of the HDX with half the compartments fixed, while the rest have removable dividers. The HDX is simply a 2 pack while these two organizers are different - in a good way.
